covered in forests. Until 1990, Afrormosia almost entirely came from the Kisangani area. Later, forest exploitation sites were opened around Basankusu, Lisala and Bumba. This is primary virgin forest. An abundance of other species - such as Iroko, Limbali (rare), Doussič and Mahogany - is found in addition to Afrormosia and Paduk. . |
